Day Trading Penny Stocks

There probably are few topics in the stock market as hyped and talked about today as day trading penny stocks-and for good reason. For those of you unfamiliar with this method, here is a brief synopsis.

First of all, day trading penny stocks involved dealing with companies that are selling at a dollar or less. They are in this unenviable position because they are not very financial stable.

There are many people that try to capitalize off of them, because even though the potential risks are very high, the potential rewards are enormous. Consider this: suppose you were to buy a certain company for .40 cents.

In several months, the stock price jumps to $3 dollars. You’ve just made over a 600% return on your investment! However, a more likely option is the stock could go down to zero. In this case, you’d lose all the money you had invested.

Obviously, these types of investments are extremely risky because of the companies they are dealing with. However, if you know what your’e doing, you can make an absolute fortune from day trading penny stocks.

Many astute investors have made literally large fortunes in this field. The key is to be able to look at a company, and determine the direction they are going in the future. Obviously, they made some bad decision the past, but that doesn’t mean a turnaround is impossible.

In fact, sometimes being on the verge of bankruptcy is jut what a company needs to right the ship.

The investors who make a fortune in this incredibly risk yet lucrative field or those who can identify the companies they feel are going to turn things around, whether it be by bringing a new president, embarking on a new marketing campaign, etc. If you are able to spot these companies, your reward potential is huge.

A final disclaimer: never jump into day trading penny stocks unless you are absolutely sure you know what you’re doing. Yes, the rewards great, but the potential risks are even greater.
