Stock Market Info :: Best Stock Investments
So what are the best stock investments to increase your net worth today? Different investors will tell you different things.
However, when you look at what the world’s most successful investors look for in a stock, it becomes readily apparent which stocks you should be focusing on. Here’s a crash course into what the vast majority of the world’s top stock investors look for in an investment.
First of all, the world’s top investors almost always look for stocks of companies that have a proven and consistent track record of success. Often times, these are the companies you are familiar with and use their products everybody, such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Nike, etc.
These pricks are certainly less exciting than some of the smaller companies you’ve never heard of before, but in the long run they offer a much greater chance for profitability.
So many investors become enamored with the small companies that come out of nowhere and make tons of money overnight. However, usually companies that exhibit overnight success fizzle out just as quickly (remember the dot.com era?)
If you don’t find a company that has a proven track record of success, you are essentially gambling with your money. The only sure way to succeed as an investor is to find a company that has proven they know how to turn a profit and jump on the band wagon. Anything else would be foolhardy.
This answer may seem obvious, and it is. However, very few investors look for these types of companies to invest in; instead, they spend all their time and energy looking for that next hot stock that springs up overnight and goes from $10 to $50 in a week.
While these types of events certainly do occur, usually companies like this end up fading out just as quickly.
No matter which way you slice it, the best stock investments, without exception, are those that have demonstrated consistent profitability over the course of their life. It may not be the most exciting way to invest, but it is by far the most profitable in the long term, and just as importantly, it doesn’t offer the potential catastrophic money loss that other stocks do.
